About AmazingCosmetics, The "Amazing" History...

In 1999 Sue Katz and Lisa Thurman took a longtime friendship to the next level as business partners when they founded AmazingCosmetics. With a shared passion for makeup the pair had always felt that a woman's complexion should not just be treated in the skin care process but with her cosmetics as well. They agreed that with a perfect canvas, every woman can go without much else and still look flawless. So when they found themselves constantly disappointed by their concealers, a complexion necessity, they decided to combine their business sense and makeup knowledge and pioneer their own brand starting with the AmazingConcealer. Little could Sue and Lisa know that their online startup company would grow to change the faces of women around the world and the face of cosmetics forever.


Lisa Thurman

With a strong entrepreneurial spirit and creative eye, Lisa Thurman dreamed of running her own business one day. Makeup and it's packaging were one of her passions. With the onset of the Internet and its strong presence shown early on for becoming a commerce powerhouse she thought this could be a truly viable opportunity in which to reach people on a global level, with low overhead and low risk. Finally she could make her dream come true. Her first step was to approach her then-to-become business partner, Sue Katz, as she always believed teamwork was the key to success. Together they focused on creating quality products that performed. Including easy palettes, shades that could go from day to night and smaller packaging that could slip easily into one's bag. A leader at heart Lisa sought to put together a group of people that could work with her in realizing all of her creative passions. A spark went off and soon AmazingCosmetics was born.
Sue Katz

Coming from a busy life as a successful stockbroker, mother, and makeup artist, Sue is the biggest advocate of the line's concept that makeup doesn't have to be complicated. Beauty should be easy and accessible to all women, whether they're a mother, a stockbroker, or both! On top of her trading history, Sue had worked in the cosmetic world as an artist for 10 years, and when She and Lisa worked with a chemist and developed AmazingConcealer, she knew she had found the product to suit the needs of her clients (and herself!) perfectly. Sue delights in spending everyday developing a line of products that make all women feel beautiful and confident no matter what their day has in store for them.
Sandy Incardona

A passionate personality and high energy are the strengths that have brought Sandy success throughout her life. It was these traits that proved to be exactly what Sue and Lisa needed to take AmazingCosmetics to the next level. With her experience as a makeup artist the winning qualities of the products were obvious to her from the start and Sandy set to work growing AmazingCosmetics from its online home and regional stores to a nationally recognized brand available at fine retailers like Sephora and Ulta. Her on-camera ease and personal belief in the line have expanded Sandy's role from Director of Sales and Marketing Worldwide to the tagline-touting face of AmazingCosmetics. Sandy has since brought the line, and her signature sayings such as "complexion perfection," into the homes of women across the United States and abroad through appearances on QVC. Sandy's passion for the line and confidence in its products has only grown over the years, and she is dedicated to bring the brand that she feels so strongly about, to women around the world.
